The conference will feature seven distinguished speakers from across the
country and Canada including Sten Vermund, Director of the Global Health
Institute at Vanderbilt University; Anne McCarthy, Chair of the Malaria
Subcommittee of Canada and director of Asian Tropical Medicine course in
Thailand; and Eileen Stillwaggon, noted economist and author about the
relationship between poverty and the spread of HIV in Africa, among others.
