John de Graaf is an independent producer of documentary films and the
national coordinator of Take Back Your Time, an organization callenging
time povery and overwork in the United States and Canada. He is the
recipient of three Emmy awards. His recent films include "The
Motherhood Manifesto" and "Buyer, Be Fair." In this talk, de Graaf will
discuss a clip from his recent film, "What's the Economy for, Anyway?"
which explores alternative definitions of economic success and productivity.
